Our History:
BCLA began as an idea between two friends who were disheartened to watch the abuse of government as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. They were weary of feeling helpless at the hands of local, state, and national officials whose control over the lives of Americans seemingly knew no limits.
An idea to gather with friends to explore ways to take action was born, and the organization was founded in December, 2020. The first meeting was held in a private residence with 30+ citizens from around Brown County in attendance. The movement has since grown beyond Brown County to Nemaha, Jackson, and Marshall counties.
